Join us the morning of November 3rd to celebrate our life-changing mentoring relationships. Your support of this event creates an opportunity to showcase the difference mentoring makes for young people, in our community.
At the same time, it enables us to create and support new Developmental Relationships between screened and trained mentors and children and youth facing adversity.
Young people who are matched in our programs have increased social emotional competency (relationship skills, social awareness, responsible decision making, self management, self awareness), improved mental health and wellbeing (positive identity, mental wellness, social inclusion and empowerment) and enhanced educational engagement and employment readiness (school connectedness, commitment to learning, enhanced constructive use of time).
Mentoring is the solution to mitigating the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences. With community support and investment of this event, we can continue to make a BIG difference for children facing adversity, right here in Regina.
